Parmigiano Reggiano Museum

How Parmigiano Reggiano is made? To find out, visit the museum of Soragna, housed in the Corte Castellazzi, ancient castle of the nineteenth behind the Rocca Meli Lupi. The tour winds through documents and photographs, machines and equipment for processing of milk and the images of the advertising campaigns of the Parmigiano Reggiano. Ham Museum

From pig to salami sweeter there is. The small capital of Prosciutto di Parma is Langhirano, country of Val Parma center of the museum and the annual Festival of Prosciutto di Parma. The exhibition halls, in the structure of the ex FORO BOARIO tell all the story of the ham, from the cut meat to the salt lavorazione, until the seasoning. The end caps are the tasting room and the museum shop, with the display and sale of catalogs and publications, gifts and products.

Salame di Felino Museum

The headquarters of the museum is in the eighteenth-century cellars of the Castle of Felino, in the country, crowned by the first hills of the Val Baganza. Salami Felino IGP is made with only Italian pork, great as an appetizer or snack with Lambrusco or Fortana. The museum presents the work of the salami, the tools and all the secrets of a unique product in the world.

Tomato Museum

The museum is in an area of the province of Parma historically dedicated to the cultivation and processing tomatoes, between Collecchio and Ozzano Taro. Housed in the Giarola court the route will take you on a journey to discover the history of the red fruit.

Culatello Street

Almost 90 km cut in the low lands of the province of Parma. The mists and steamy rising from the Po river create the right microclimate for the seasonery of Culatello, the most valuable salami of the Food Valley. "La casa del culatello" is the small town of Culatello Zibello. Besides Zibello, the Road of Culatello touches all the municipalities of the production area recognized by the Consortium for the Protection of Culatello DOP, from Busseto, in Verdi's land, on the western border of the province of Parma, in Colorno.
